Contest Highlights
Bands: Enter Your Music - Get in the Game!
- Get your music into the next, as yet untitled, version of iMP: Surf the Music iPhone/iPod Touch video game
- Winners have the opportunity to share in the game's revenues
- International exposure
Fans: Vote for Your Favorite Band! Cool Prizes!
- Fans: Vote and enter the draw for one free iPod Touch awarded to a lucky fan each contest preliminary round.
- Grand Prize: one free iPad awarded at the end of the final round.
Contest Details: the High Points!
- Solo music artists, composers, groups, with or without lyrics/vocals are eligible
- One entry per band for the entire contest
- Bands with personal managers, agents, lawyers or other representatives are welcome to enter the contest so long as the other contest rules are met
- Contest is for unsigned bands only
- Bands or any band member can not have had or are currently in a record or music publishing contract. Self released recordings excepted.
- Composers can not previously have had their music in games, TV or Film
- Up to 4 preliminary entry and fan voting rounds will take place
- Bands are encouraged to enter early as this provides increased exposure and potentially greater chances of winning fan votes
- Fans vote for their favorite 25 bands each round
- The top 100 bands enter the final round of fan voting
- The Winners: The top 10 bands get their music into the next, as yet untitled, version of iMP: Surf the Music iPhone/iPodTouch game
- There is no entry fee for the contest.
